Habib Ur Rehman Shaikh
Salesforce Technical Manager | Architect | Salesforce 7X Certified
Introduction:
I am Habib Ur Rehman Zaki Ur Rehman Shaikh, quite a long name, right? Yeah, I know that 🙂 you can call me Habib. Here’s a quick rundown of my qualifications. Since 2006 I’ve been employed in the IT sector (that means a total of 15 years now). I began my career as a technical trainer and stayed in that role for about 2 years, working as both a corporate trainer and a faculty member for students. I gave classes on languages like C, C++and Java, as well as java-based technologies like Struts, Hibernate, Spring, EJB and others. I enjoy teaching my students technology and coding. All was well, but I was falling behind on something…. Understanding technology is one thing and putting it to use to solve real-world issues is quite another. With this in mind, I left the teaching profession after two years and began working as a Java developer. Fortunately, I soon had the opportunity to work for some fantastic companies and clients, including AT&T, Morgan Stanley, UHG, tech Mahindra, Capgemini and Persistent. This was a nearly seven-year journey from a Software developer to Solution Designer. After working in Java, J2EE technology for nearly 7 years, I got the chance to cross-train myself in Salesforce and it completely changed my life. I went from becoming a conventional Java programmer to being an Apex programmer. For the past six years, I’ve been working as a Salesforce Professional. During those six years, I worked with Salesforce’s various features, such as configuration-based creation, apex customization, visual force and lightning. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud and Education Cloud.
Why am I in Salesforce Training now?
As I told you at the start of my introduction, I love technology as well as training. I think I am qualified to start as a technical trainer again with 2 years of training experience and 13 years in the IT industry. For the obvious reason, I chose salesforce because this is the latest technology in which I am working but believe me that’s not the only reason. As the fastest-growing SAAS and PAAS platform, Salesforce produces a variety of jobs in the global IT market. Salesforce professionals are in high demand, so whether you’re a recent graduate looking to jumpstart your career or if you’re already employed in another technology and want to learn something new to advance vertically in your career, Salesforce is a good platform to start with.
